DGN Announced

District Governor Tom Kerr has announced that Riverhead's own Connie Gevinski is the new District Governor Nominee (DGN), which means that Connie will be District Governor in 2012-2013. Cornelia (Connie) Gevinski has recently retired after 30 years as an educator in the Riverhead Central School District. Connie formerly served as the Riverhead High School's Interact advisor and is a Past District Chair of Interact. Connie currently serves as District Chair of Rotary Friendship Exchange and Rotary Alumni. Raised in Woodhaven and Forest Hills, Queens, Connie holds a BA in Fine Arts from LIU/Southampton and an MS in Special Education from LIU. She and her husband Bernard have three children and two grandsons, with another on the way. Congratulations, Connie!
