Rotary scholarship application is now available.
 
The Rotary Club of Riverhead invites high school seniors to apply for scholarships offered by the club.
 
To be eligible, a student must be a resident of Town of Riverhead or within Riverhead Central School District.
 
Application Deadline: March 8, 2019. Applications will not be accepted after deadline—no exceptions!
 
Instruction checklist for scholarship application:
 
  • Complete Part I. Attach information as requested in sections A and B.
  • Attach Part II (essay).
  • Parent or guardian completes Part III and attaches copy of the FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR). The SAR is a required piece of the Rotary Scholarship Application.
  • Submit Parts I, II and III to your guidance counselor. Guidance counselor completes Part IV and attaches official transcript.

Criteria for Riverhead Rotary Scholarships


Riverhead Rotary Scholarship
    •    Outstanding academic record
    •    Significant community service
    •    Participation in extracurricular activities and/or employment
    •    Riverhead resident
    •    Financial need
    •    Proof of each year’s full-time enrollment required for each year’s installment
 
Bruce Stark Memorial Scholarship
    •    A or B average
    •    Varsity sports participant
    •    Community service activity
    •    Riverhead resident
    •    Financial need
    •    Business or finance major preferred
    •    Must maintain GPA of 2.75 or better to qualify for each year’s installment
    •    Proof of each year’s full-time enrollment required for each year’s installment
 
Hallock Luce III Memorial Scholarship
    •    Outstanding academic record
    •    Significant community service
    •    Participation in extracurricular activities and/or employment
    •    Riverhead resident
    •    Financial need

Daniel N. Kohn Truetech Scholarship
    •    Outstanding academic record in science
    •    Special aptitude and interest in chemistry
    •    Community service
    •    Riverhead resident
    •    Financial need
